Mayo Volunteer Managers Network Meeting
Tuesday, 8th April 2014, from 10 am to 12 noon
kindly hosted by Moy Valley Resources, Bunree Road, Ballina.
The theme of the meeting is:
Do you give feedback to your volunteers about how they are doing?
Do you do formal appraisals with your volunteers?
Do your ask your volunteers for feedback about their experience volunteering with you?
Do you do exit interviews with volunteers when they are leaving?
Getting and giving volunteer feedback can be a great way of keeping your volunteers motivated and involved. It can help to improve performance, uncover any unspoken issues, and lessen the chance of internal problems turning into negative publicity.
Join Mayo Volunteer Centre’s Volunteer Manager’s Network Meeting on Tuesday 8th April to discuss various ways of conducting feedback and evaluations, share your experiences of what works and doesn’t work, have a look at evaluation forms and templates.
The Mayo Volunteer Managers Network is open to everyone who has responsibility for volunteers in their voluntary group – whether you are paid or unpaid yourself. It is a friendly, informal forum for volunteer managers to share experiences and peer support. All are welcome!
We hope you can make it. Please phone 096 71444 for further details
