Breathe: managing your mental health
The last year has had an impact on us all in many ways but none more so than on our mental health. At times we have all had to struggle with staying positive. But what do we really mean by mental health? This session being delivered during National Volunteering Week (17th – 23rd May) will be run by Mayo Mental Health Association and will help us to understand the issues. We will discuss the effects that Covid-19 has had on us all, gain some tips on maintaining good mental health, find out the supports available and how volunteering can be of huge benefit. The speakers will talk about the ‘5 ways to well-being’ which will help us all to develop positive mental health.
