Steering Committee members required

inNews

The Mayo Volunteer Centre is seeking two volunteers to join our Steering Committee to help guide us in terms of governance and strategic direction. Are you passionate about the value of volunteering and have a successful track record of community involvement? Then we would like to hear from you. This is an exciting opportunity to help develop this dynamic organisation which supports volunteers and volunteer-involving organisations in Mayo. The Committee meets 10 times per annum. Currently we are meeting remotely and it is likely this will continue for the foreseeable future. Meetings are scheduled for every 6 weeks and typically held on a Thursday morning for 1-2 hours. Additional time is required to read papers and prepare in advance of each meeting, plus involvement in sub-committees. If you think you have a contribution to make, please register your interest with us here: https://bit.ly/3srtHvN
